An interesting game forNovy Jicin (18-6) which hosted in Novy Jicin one of their biggest challengers Decin (15-9). First ranked Novy Jicin managed to get a 9-point victory 95-86 . The winners were led by the former international center Vaclav Bujnoch (200-1993, college: Des Moines A.) who scored that evening 20 points and 6 rebounds and Stepan Svoboda (194-2000) supported him with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Five Novy Jicin players scored in double figures. Even 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists by forward Oliver Zizka (200-2005) did not help to save the game for Decin . Guard Josef Gabriel (194-2006) added 21 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Novy Jicin maintains first position with 18-6 record which they share with defeated Decin . Decin lost fourth consecutive game. They still keep top place with nine games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams.
